Job summary

C1S Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager I to lead small to mid-sized projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with Superintendents, engineers, and trade partners to move every piece of the project forward.

You will develop schedules and budgets, maintain documentation, and communicate proactively with clients. A design-build mindset and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of commercial, industrial, or advanced manufacturing construction experience.
• 3+ years of design-build experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction project management principles and documentation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-sized construction projects from kickoff through closeout, managing cost, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams
• Keep clients informed through proactive communication and regular project updates
• Promote and maintain strong safety and quality standards on every project
• Lead design-build coordination efforts when engineering and construction overlap
• Identify and proactively manage project risks before they become project problems
• Partner with Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Engineers to ensure smooth project execution
• Mentor developing team members and contribute to a collaborative project environment
• Continuously improve and reinforce the "C1S Way" of delivering exceptional projects
• Successfully manage project closeout, including punch lists, commissioning, owner training, and final documentation
