Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Project Manager I to provide overall management direction on less complex projects, establishing objectives through planning and budgets, and serving as the primary point of contact with the client.

You will monitor construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Superintendent and be responsible for the project’s financial results and safety per IIF culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of experience, or 8 years of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishes project objectives through planning and budgets; serves as primary point of contact with the client; monitors construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Superintendent.
• Responsible for the financial results of the project.
• Responsible for safety on the project by perpetuating the IIF culture.
• Pre-Construction Duties coordination; manages cost and schedule; oversees cash flow; supervises direct reports; maintains client relationships; submits technical records; supports construction; manages project safety and risk management processes; ensures a safe work environment; participates in training/certifications.

Education

Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years experience / or 8 years construction related experience
