Job summary

RW Dake Construction is a leading employee-owned specialty general contractor with offices across the Northeast and Southeast. We seek a project professional focused on estimating, bidding, budgeting, and delivering complex projects.

You will read blueprints, manage RFI and submittal workflows, handle change orders and invoicing, and help cultivate client and contractor relationships while maintaining QA/QC and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, bidding, budgeting, and RFI workflows.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand CSI cost codes.
• Two years construction industry experience preferred; degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and perform project takeoffs with no guidance.
• Carry out the entire project bidding process.
• Build, understand and maintain a project budget.
• Maintain RFI logs and submittal process.
• Process change orders and invoices.
• Read contracts and identify red flags or cautions.
• Schedule, hold and attend project meetings as required.
• Maintain QA/QC on projects and safety compliance.
• Cultivate sales and new prospective clients/customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors.
