Job summary

Blue Line Drywall & Insulation is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our growing team in Boston, MA. This Full-Time role offers the chance to support projects from preconstruction through closeout and to gain hands-on experience coordinating subcontractors, reviewing plans, tracking schedules and budgets, and ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of construction experience, a degree in a related field preferred, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction, project management, estimating, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of commercial construction methods and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts by reviewing takeoffs, pricing, and bid documents.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, subcontracts, and project documentation.
• Track project budgets, schedules, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents.
• Monitor project progress and communicate potential schedule or budget impacts.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Attend project meetings and visit job sites as needed.
• Work closely with Business Development, Estimating, and Operations to support new and ongoing projects.
