Job summary

WSB is seeking a Construction/Contract Administration leader in Minnesota to guide a team of field staff and manage contracts for Federal, State, and local projects. The role combines office and field work, with emphasis on budget, schedule, and documentation.

Strong knowledge of design standards, proposals, and client coordination is required. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, MN DOT experience, licensure or near-licensure, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and Minnesota license or ability to obtain in 6 months.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.
• 10+ years of experience in construction, MNDOT specs, and contract administration.
• NDOT/County Road/Bridge experience preferred and MNDOT certifications
• Experience in project management, client management, staff management, and travel readiness.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of field staff, develop and manage contracts for a variety of public projects.
• Provide project management, oversight, and contract administration across Federal, State, and local projects.
• Participate in proposal development, staff scheduling and management, and client communications.
• Perform office and field contract administration duties including budget and schedule management.
• Read and interpret contracts, plans, and provisions; learn contract administration software.
• Support Design Build and other project delivery methods within the group.
