Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects in Indianapolis, IN. You will manage scheduling, budgets, and coordination with the Superintendent and Foremen to drive on-time, on-budget project execution.

This full-time role offers a $105,000 to $140,000 salary and a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus relocation assistance for qualified candidates. You will work on site in Indianapolis, coordinating with diverse teams to deliver safe, high-quality

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field (bonus).
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M–$50M (bonus).
• Experience with construction management software (bonus).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, elevating concerns and solutions to leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, cost control, change orders, and cost to complete.
• Earn the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges.
• Chair project meetings with customers and plan progress updates.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Provide clear leadership and guidance to all team members.
• Negotiate changes as needed within project contracts.
• Review estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Ensure timely completion of job closeout procedures.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on the jobsite.

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Pay Range: $105,000 - $140,000

Superior is looking for a Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Project Manager is responsible for managing construction projects, scheduling resources, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met, and working closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure the successful progress and completion of the project. This role is based on a jobsite in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Create and manage the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
• Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost to complete
• Earn the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
• Serve as a key leader and provide clear communication and guidance to all team members
• Understand the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
• Review all project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Ensure the timely completion of all job closeout procedures
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction, or equivalent field operations management experience
• Bonus Points: You have earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Construction Management certificate; or have equivalent field or project experience on a commercial construction site
• Bonus Points: You have experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M
• Bonus Points: You have extensive knowledge in construction management software
• Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
