Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Manage projects from preconstruction through client turnover
    • Develop and execute detailed project schedules and work plans
    • Oversee procurement, submittals, RFIs, and subcontractor coordination
  • Leadership & Communication
    • Lead and mentor field teams, Assistant PMs, and support staff
    • Act as primary liaison for clients, architects, and engineers
    • Resolve conflicts and communicate proactively with all project stakeholders
  • Budget & Cost Control
    • Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project budgets
    • Approve subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices
    • Negotiate change orders and maintain cost tracking integrity
  • Quality & Risk Management
    • Ensure all work meets specifications, code, and quality standards
    • Promote jobsite safety culture and partner with safety teams
    • Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain schedule and profitability

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7+ years' experience managing commercial construction projects ($1M-$50M+)
  • Proficiency with construction management software
  • Strong knowledge of AIA contracts, scheduling, and cost tracking
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
