Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead HVAC capital projects in a nuclear environment. The role requires 3–5+ years of industrial/nuclear HVAC PM experience and familiarity with BMS/HEPA systems.

Responsibilities include end-to-end project management, NRC compliance, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and rigorous documentation for nuclear standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with PMP certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of HVAC project management experience in an industrial or highly regulated nuclear environment, including familiarity with HEPA filtration and BMS integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of HVAC capital projects from scope development through installation, commissioning, and final operational turnover.
• Ensure project plans comply with NRC regulations and facility safety standards, managing IROFS, hazard analyses, radiological work permits, and lifting plans.
• Oversee third-party contractors and develop integrated project schedules aligning HVAC installations with production outages and critical path milestones.
• Maintain rigorous documentation control, including as-built drawings, testing records, and project close-out packages required for nuclear compliance.
• Coordinate BMS and HEPA technical requirements across cross-functional teams while applying Lean tools to optimize project delivery processes.
