We are seeking a dynamic construction professional to lead ground-up commercial projects, fostering collaborative environments and ensuring successful delivery.

Position Overview: The Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight and successful execution of ground-up commercial construction projects, specifically within the academic and civic sectors. This role involves managing all phases of construction from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and client relationship management. The Project Manager will lead project teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of commercial ground-up projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams, including Superintendents and Project Engineers.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, fostering strong relationships.
• Implement and enforce rigorous safety and quality assurance programs on site.
• Manage all project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
• Participate in value engineering and problem-solving to optimize project outcomes.

Requirements:

• 4-10 years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction.
• Demonstrated experience managing ground-up projects in the $5M-$50M range.
• Proven tenure of 4+ years at a previous general contracting firm.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• A Plus: Experience with self-perform concrete capabilities.
• Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 (commensurate with experience).
• Bonus: A robust bonus program with a strong history of payout, based on project success, tenure, company, and individual performance.
