Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects in the United States. The role emphasizes delivering client value through proactive governance, robust reporting, and effective stakeholder management with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, demonstrate strong organization and communication, and be proficient in Procore and standard office tools.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction PM tools.
  • Strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages stakeholders including architects, engineers, and suppliers to deliver compliant projects.
  • Tracks milestones and effectively manage critical activities to avoid schedule slips.
  • Verifies that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized.
  • Produces formal project status reports and other reports as required.
  • Monitors the progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
  • Manages the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Forecasts and updates key project milestones and budget.
  • Provides technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
  • Provides expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs.
  • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients.
  • Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches to achieve objectives.
  • Knowledge management – ensure key information and learnings are captured.
  • Process improvement – identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Managestakeholdersincluding architects,engineers,and supplychainsto deliver compliantprojects.

  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, generalcontractorsand regional stakeholders
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field
  • Provideexpertisefor cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance whererequired
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals,timelines,and costs from architects,contractorsand suppliers.
  • Client management –assistin developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
  • Strategic Thinking -providesadvice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’objectivesand businessobjectives.
  • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each projectarecaptured.
  • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management,architecture,engineeringor field related to construction or related experience..
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiencyin Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Strong communicationskills.
