Job Description

Below is a non-exhaustive list of the key responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of projects from entry to completion and beyond.
• Maintaining positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle to develop long-term accounts.
• Creating, maintaining, and communicating project schedules using computer software.
• Managing site superintendents and ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Managing changes to the project scope, including time, cost, and scope adjustments.
• Periodic billing of projects.
• Managing project punch lists and closeout processes to high standards.
• Planning, attending, and conducting regular meetings with vendors and clients.
• Embracing company quality and safety initiatives.
• Working closely with senior managers, business developers, and allied consultants.
• Fostering a change-loving, high-performance team culture.
• Working effectively in a design-build project delivery process with passion for the work.

The Successful Applicant

• A degree in construction, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years’ experience as a Project Manager or five to ten years of progressive construction-related experience.
• Demonstrated competency in scheduling, procurement, budget and cost control, financial reporting, client relationship management, interpersonal skills, computer skills, communication skills, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Proficiency in PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Timberscan, Excel, Word, P6).
• OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
