Job summary

Comrise is seeking an experienced Construction Site Project Manager for its New York operations. The role focuses on hands-on supervision, safety, and coordinating with contractors and clients across multiple NYC projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in site supervision, fluent in English and Chinese, and solid experience with digital project management platforms. Knowledge of NYC DOB codes and on-site inspections is essential, as is strong communication and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in construction site supervision or project management.
• Business level fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Experience with digital project management platforms for construction.
• Strong understanding of NYC DOB codes and procedures related to site inspections.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on construction environment.
• Relevant construction certifications are a plus (e.g., OSHA, site safety, project management).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations and ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) codes and inspection readiness requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Manage project documentation and reporting through online project management tools.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and partners, communicating fluently in both Chinese and English.
• Promote and enforce strict site safety policies and procedures.
