Job summary

STRUCTURAL is hiring a Project Manager for its Building Envelope High-Rise Restoration Division in the Greater DMV area. You will oversee large, self-perform facade restoration projects, coordinating with design teams and clients to deliver on time and within budget.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk, while upholding a strong safety culture and high quality standards across stakeholders and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial/public construction/restoration.
• Experience managing projects up to $10M.
• Proficiency with project forecasting tools and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Own communications with stakeholders to keep projects aligned.
• Lead regular team and client meetings for goals and timelines.
• Manage procurement and contracts for subs, vendors, and materials.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, change orders, claims, and disputes.
• Build and manage budgets, schedules, and risk plans with transparency.
• Ensure quality control with designers and QC teams.
• Champion safety, aligning with OSHA standards.

About the Role

We're hiring a Project Manager to join our Building Envelope High- Rise Restoration Division office in Alexandria, VA and serving the Greater DMV/Mid-Atlantic area. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be accountable for managing large, self-perform, complex building envelope repair and facade restoration projects.

What You'll Do

• Own communication across internal and external stakeholders-keeping projects aligned and moving forward.

• Run regular team and client meetings to align on goals, timelines, and progress.

• Manage procurement and contracts for subs, vendors, and materials to ensure high value and timely delivery.

• Monitor and manage subcontractor performance, change orders, claims, and disputes.

• Build and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk plans with transparency and precision.

• Ensure top-tier quality control in collaboration with designers and QC teams.

• Champion a strong safety culture, aligning with OSHA and project-specific standards.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field, (Master's, PMP, or DBIA certification a plus)

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or public construction/restoration (Structural concrete, facade repair, waterproofing, and historic restoration a plus)

• Proven track record managing construction projects up to $10M

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, and project forecasting tools

• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities

• Willingness to travel (up to 20%) or work on out-of-town projects
