Job summary

F.A. Wilhelm Construction seeks a Project Manager to lead complex construction programs in Indiana from start to closeout. You will coordinate with clients, subs, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining safety standards and quality.

Responsibilities include cost forecasting, scheduling, coordinating permits, and guiding daily activities with the Project Superintendent. This role offers growth in an established, values-driven company and opportunities to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30 Certification

Responsibilities

• Project Start Up and kickoff.
• Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
• Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
• Assist with permits, due dates, and communicate schedule impacts.
• Develop and implement project-specific processes and procedures.
• Lead day-to-day management and construction activities in conjunction with the Project Superintendent.
• Manage project costs through ongoing evaluations of labor, material, and equipment.
• Interface with all company departments to resolve issues; liaison with client, subcontractors, and government officials.
• Ensure safety measures, procedures, and requirements are met and practiced.
• Oversee project closeout and successful handover with record drawings and warranties.

Responsibilities

• Project Start Up

• Develop and implement project specific processes and procedures.
• Project Build
• In conjunction with the Project Superintendent, lead, direct and coordinate the day-to-day management and construction activities.
• Manage project costs, through ongoing evaluations of labor, material, and equipment.
• Interface with all company departments as necessary to resolve any issue.
• The liaison between the client, the company, subcontractors, and government officials.
• Ensure all safety measures, procedures, and requirements are met, followed, and practiced.
• Project Closeout
• Ensure substantial completion as defined in the specifications.
• Assist with the submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals & warranties to ensure a smooth and successful closeout.

What It Takes

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field
