Job summary

Pioneer Landscaping Asphalt Paving Inc is seeking a Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure and civil construction projects in Kings Park, NY. This onsite role directs all phases from groundbreaking to completion, coordinating with architects, engineers, and government agencies to meet exact specs.

You will manage multi-million dollar budgets, oversee subcontractors, and maintain meticulous reports for executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing municipal construction contracts including local, State, and Federal projects.
• Strong proficiency in MS Project and Bluebeam.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and budgets simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of municipal construction projects from initial groundbreaking to final completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure exact project specifications.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules and manage multi-million dollar budgets to maintain cost efficiency.
• Select and oversee subcontractors to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and prepare detailed project reports for clients and senior management.
• Resolve real-time technical and logistical site issues to prevent delays and ensure project delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and manage change orders to protect project integrity and company resources.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar leadership role.

• Strong proficiency in project management software, specifically MS Project and Bluebeam.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and budgets simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Deep knowledge of local building regulations and safety protocols specific to the New York region.
• Deep knowledge of NYC park projects is a major plus for upcoming projects.
