Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a premier EPC firm in the Kansas City area to lead high-profile infrastructure and construction projects on-site.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering and 10+ years of PM experience, with Procore, Accubid, BHS, and MS Project proficiency. PMP is a strong plus; travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering or equivalent plus 10+ years PM experience.
• Experience leading commercial/industrial/institutional construction projects.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects end-to-end from planning to closeout and commissioning.
• Direct field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendor contracts; oversee RFIs, submittals, and inspections.
• Enforce site safety; ensure NEC and local/state/federal compliance.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and mentor PM staff.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction? A premier, multi-award-winning Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm in the Kansas City area is seeking a dynamic Project Manager direct hire to lead high-profile infrastructure and construction projects.

What You'll Do

Project Leadership: Manage projects end-to-end—from initial planning, scheduling, and master budgeting through final closeout and commissioning.

Operations & Coordination: Direct field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendor contracts; oversee RFPs, RFIs, submittals, and site inspections.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict site safety protocols and ensure complete adherence to NEC codes alongside local, state, and federal regulations.

Team & Stakeholder Management: Communicate project progress to key stakeholders, build strong client relationships, and mentor project management staff.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience (10+ years in project management preferred).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management and estimating software (Procore, Accubid, BHS, Microsoft Project).

Core Strengths: Deep expertise in construction logistics, material expediting, reading plans, quality control, and budget management.

Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is a strong plus!

Location: Kansas City, MO (On-site / travel to job sites)

Pay Range: $70,000 - 100,000 / year depending on experience
