Location Requirement
MUST reside in the Kansas City, MO area to be considered.
Pay Range
$105,000.00 - $115,000.00 a year plus bonus.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects end-to-end, from pre‑construction planning through final completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and cash flow tracking.
- Proactively identify project risks, schedule impacts, and cost variances; implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Monitor project performance using key metrics and provide accurate, timely status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary client‑facing representative, ensuring clear communication regarding progress, milestones, changes, and expectations.
- Oversee procurement activities, including material takeoffs, bill of materials (BOM), equipment sourcing, and delivery coordination.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Lead project meetings, fostering accountability, collaboration, and productive problem‑solving across all teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in the telecom and/or solar industry.
- Proven experience managing field crews and subcontractors in active construction environments.
- Strong client‑facing and stakeholder communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project scheduling, procurement, and cost control.
- Solid understanding of construction means and methods, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience preparing estimates and quoting projects using bills of materials (BOMs).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem‑solver with the ability to adapt in fast‑paced, changing project environments.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
