Job summary

American Cruise Lines, headquartered in Guilford, CT, seeks a Construction & Project Manager to drive port infrastructure projects nationwide. The role reports to the Director of Port Development and Construction and requires in-person work at the Guilford home office with substantial travel.

As the fleet expands, you will coordinate utilities, timelines and budgets, acting as the primary liaison between engineers and contractors to ensure timely project delivery and quality results.

Responsibilities

• Source, interview and assist in selecting marine contractors.
• Review, compare and present bid packages from contractors.
• Coordinate utility installation of water, sewer and electric.
• Develop a project tracker to include key timelines, milestones and budget for each project.
• Primary point of contact between engineers and construction companies.
• Travel to project locations before, during and after construction.
• Ability to make presentations to groups including port partners on status of projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

American Cruise Lines is seeking a Construction & Project Manager to join the team at our Guilford, CT Corporate Headquarters. Our rapid expansion has made us the largest overnight passenger vessel in the US domestic market. As our fleet continues to expand, so does the need to ensure we maintain relationships across the country.

The Construction & Project Manager will play a critical role in executing the company’s long-term port infrastructure strategy. This role will oversee port infrastructure projects in all regions the company operates including the East Coast, Mississippi River and tributaries, Pacific Northwest and Great Lakes. This role will report to the Director of Port Development and Construction.

Work Schedule:

• Ability to work in-person at our Guilford, CT home office.
