Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Minnesota to oversee both residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality, coordinating subcontractors, in-house trades, property managers, and insurance professionals.

Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, building schedules, controlling change orders, and performing site quality checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of hands-on experience managing insurance reconstruction, remodel, or new construction as PM, superintendent, or supervisor.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in different construction phases.
• Solid understanding of residential building systems and finish trade sequencing.
• Experience managing job-level financials including budgeted vs actual expenses and change orders.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Xactimate estimating preferred.

Position Summary

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee both residential and commercial reconstruction projects. From start to finish, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Unlike new construction, our rebuild projects present unique challenges, and no two days are the same. You will interact daily with subcontractors, in‑house skilled tradespeople, property managers, and insurance professionals.

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Minimum of two years of hands‑on experience managing insurance reconstruction, remodel, or new construction as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Supervisor with residential or commercial construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in various phases of construction.
• Solid understanding of residential building systems (framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and finish trade sequencing.
• Proven ability to build and manage schedules, buyout and coordinate trades, and perform job‑site quality control and punch‑out.
• Experience managing job‑level financials including budgeted and actual expenses, gross margin targets, and change‑order control.
• Ability to conduct site walks, climb ladders, and work in active construction environments.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Client‑facing skills to communicate effectively with all involved parties throughout the reconstruction process.
• Experience working with time and materials.
• Valid driver’s license with a stellar driving record.
• Xactimate estimating (highly preferred).
• Contractor’s license (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary plus bonuses based on profitability. Additional benefits include a company vehicle or car allowance, fuel card, laptop, smartphone, and all tools necessary for success. • Base Pay Minimum: $65,000
• Base Pay Maximum: $100,000
