Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support U.S. Government design and construction projects in Maryland.

The role involves managing budgets, schedules, design reviews, QA/QC, and project tracking while coordinating with Government Project Managers, CORs, customers, and contractors. The position requires experience in design/construction management for government projects, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Job description

Core4ce is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support U.S. Government design and construction projects. The position will provide project management, cost, schedule, design review, quality assurance, and project tracking support while working closely with Government Project Managers, CORs, customers, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Support development of Statements of Work (SOWs), project requirements, and design/construction budgets.
• Assist with A/E and construction cost estimates for new contracts and modifications.
• Develop and review project schedules; identify and document potential delays, impacts, and risks.
• Review project invoices and provide recommendations to the customer regarding payment.
• Review designs and specifications for technical feasibility and scope compliance; document findings in DrChecks.
• Provide Construction Quality Assurance support in accordance with ER 1180-1-6 (CQM), including site visits and Quality Assurance Reports.
• Attend project progress, safety, and quality control meetings and prepare meeting summaries.
• Maintain project costs, schedules, design and construction progress, coordination issues, and major issues within SharePoint.
• Ensure work complies with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, codes, regulations, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting design, construction, facilities, engineering, or Government project management.
• Experience with project requirements, SOWs, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, or technical documentation.
• Experience reviewing designs, specifications, drawings, or construction documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting USACE or other Federal Government projects.
• Knowledge of ER 1180-1-6 (Construction Quality Management).
• Experience with DrChecks and/or SharePoint.
• Construction quality assurance or quality control experience.
• Experience with Government cost estimating or construction schedule analysis.
