Job summary

Metric Geo seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and mission-critical cleanroom projects from preconstruction to turnover. You will manage schedules, budgets, and execution plans while serving as the primary liaison to clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and a focus on profitability and safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or mission-critical construction cleanrooms.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project financial management.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple stakeholders; proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Biopharma cleanroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through turnover.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and project execution plans.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field activities for seamless delivery.
  • Lead kickoff, progress, and client update meetings; manage subcontractor procurement and change orders.
  • Monitor costs, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate field operations with Superintendents, manpower, and equipment.
  • Identify risks and proactively develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and codes/regulations.
  • Promote safety in line with OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Oversee closeout, including punch lists, commissioning support, and final docs.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution plans
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field construction activities to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and regular client updates
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, change orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability
  • Review and process RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation
  • Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate field operations, manpower, equipment, and project sequencing
  • Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget
  • Ensure projects comply with contract requirements, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies
  • Oversee project closeout, including punch list completion, commissioning support, and final documentation
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and project stakeholders
  • Perform other project management duties as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or mission-critical construction cleanrooms
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project financial management
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple project stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Biopharma Cleanroom experience preferred!
