Job summary

Shelco, LLC is seeking a Project Manager with experience in commercial construction. The role focuses on leading project delivery, coordinating design teams and field operations to ensure quality, schedule integrity and budget control.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management or proven industry competence, plus strong MS Office, BIM and scheduling tool expertise.

Qualifications

• Ability to create and manage project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Review submittals and shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and critical path activities.
• Lead project coordination meetings with clients and designers.
• Assist preconstruction and estimating with input and logistics.
• Oversee MEP coordination, commissioning and closeout activities.
• Create and track punch lists, as-built and O&M documents.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

• Experience in Commercial Construction as Project Manager
• College degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management OR demonstrated competence in the industry
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Plan Grid, Microsoft Project and typical Project Management software
• Preferred knowledge of CMIC project management, BIM and Primavera Scheduling software a plus
• Review all submittals and shop drawings for compliance with Contract documents
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and ability to enforce them
• Ability to create and manage project schedules and critical path activities
• Strong communication skills to define and solve problems as well as develop a team atmosphere with the Subcontractors, Designers and Client Representatives
• Review and maintain project budgets including regular job cost forecasting
• Preparation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders including detailed scope of work narratives
• Head project coordination meetings with the client and designers in a productive manner
• Assist preconstruction and estimating staff with operational input and logistics
• Knowledge of MEP systems, Building Commissioning and closeout
• Ability to review water tightness details and general quality control management
• Create and track progress on Punch Lists, As-Builts and O&M documents
• Ability to pass drug screening and background experience
