Position Overview

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-driven Project Manager to lead and support construction activities related to high-voltage transmission projects. This role is instrumental in delivering critical infrastructure safely, on time, and within budget, while adhering to regulatory and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction transmission projects from initiation through closeout
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, environmental, land services, and construction teams
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Manage vendor contracts, bid evaluations, and change order processes
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Prepare regular project reports for stakeholders and senior leadership
• Lead project meetings and interface with internal and external stakeholders
• Support outage planning, permitting, and community engagement as needed
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in utility or energy infrastructure
• Deep understanding of transmission line and substation construction
• Proven experience managing capital budgets and construction schedules
• Knowledge of relevant codes, permitting processes, and utility regulations
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, SAP)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent
• Familiarity with FERC/NERC and utility regulatory frameworks
• Experience coordinating with government agencies and stakeholders
• Field construction experience or PE license a plus
