Job summary

Tiello is seeking a Project Manager for commercial and municipal construction projects in Tempe, AZ. This role takes full ownership from preconstruction through closeout, acting as the primary client contact while driving schedule, budget, and overall execution.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in PM/APM within construction, with strong knowledge of construction documents and cost control. Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in Project Management or Assistant PM within construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with job cost tracking, forecasting, and financial management.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct project schedules, budgets, and execution from start to finish.
• Develop and manage construction budgets including takeoffs, subcontractor buyout, and cost control.
• Lead project strategy, ensuring constructability, feasibility, and successful delivery.
• Manage subcontractors and enforce contract compliance across safety, quality, and performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and communication.
• Drive schedule development and implement recovery plans when delays occur.
• Handle project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.
• Manage monthly billing, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
• Conduct site visits to ensure safety, QA/QC, and company standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members including APMs and Project Engineers

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable General Contractor in the Phoenix market on their search for a Project Manager for commercial and municipal construction projects.

The Project Manager will take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout; acting as the primary point of contact for clients while driving schedule, budget, and overall project execution. This role requires a strong operator who understands both the financial and field side of construction and can lead teams while protecting margin and timeline.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct project schedules, budgets, and execution from start to finish

• Lead project strategy, ensuring constructability, feasibility, and successful delivery
