LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager to join their team in Algonquin, IL. You will play a vital role on the commercial construction team. You will oversee multiple commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Previous experience in general contracting and ground-up construction project management is required. The ideal candidate will be personable, a team player, and committed to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Provide overall leadership and mentorship to project staff, including Assistant Project Managers (APMs) and Project Engineers (PEs).
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Project Planning: Develop and manage project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and subcontractors.
• Cost Management: Oversee project budgets and ensure profitability.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety programs and OSHA standards.
• Quality Control: Manage quality control processes to ensure project standards are met.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Documentation: Coordinate and manage project documentation, including subcontracts, drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on general contracting and commercial construction.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and Procore.
• Experience with ground-up/new construction builds is essential.
• Strong work ethic, self-initiative, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be responsive and able to work with a high sense of urgency.
• High attention to detail is important.
