Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Project Management Intern to assist the project manager in day-to-day functions across multiple commercial and industrial construction projects. You will collect, review and prepare submittal packages for review by PM and Client A/E, perform site visits, and contribute to quality control and safety observations.

Some scheduling and drafting tools are a plus, including MS Project, Blue Beam, CAD, and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS/BA construction management or related field.
• Prefer 2nd–4th year candidate; associate degree considered.
• Proficient in MS Office; good English communication skills.
• Flexible summer schedule; up to 20 hours/week during school.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM with day-to-day functions on multiple projects.
• Collect, review and prepare submittal packages for review.
• Conduct project site visits and complete daily reports.
• Support quality control, safety observations, and change orders.
