Job summary

Rockford is seeking a Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a broad range of construction projects from start to finish. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Procore, with travel to job sites as needed. On-site responsibilities may be in Grand Rapids area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of three years commercial construction experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery from contract award to final handoff.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting with finance teams.
• Establish project schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tooling.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Procurement during pre-award and buyout phases.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts and vendor agreements, monitor progress and changes.
