Job summary

Kent Companies seeks a project manager to lead complex construction projects from setup through completion, ensuring on‑time delivery within budget and in line with safety standards. You will coordinate with the Director of Operations and superintendents, review contracts, and manage financials while maintaining client relations.

The role requires 5–8 years of construction management experience, strong planning and cost-control skills, and the ability to read drawings and manage subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5–8 years’ experience in construction management, including scheduling, budgeting, and field personnel management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct project activities with directors and superintendents.
• Review contracts and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and protect company interests while maintaining customer relations.
• Establish project objectives and performance standards, and discuss procedures with leadership.
• Interface with clients to manage changes, issues, or disputes.
• Monitor project cost and schedule, and generate reports on progress and costs.
• Prepare change orders, approve invoices, and assist in generating POs and scopes of work.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and communicate with stakeholders.
