Job summary

Kent Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects in Texas, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and according to safety standards. You will collaborate with operations leaders, superintendents, and the contract administrator to optimize cost control and scheduling while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include change orders, invoice approvals, and ongoing cost tracking.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience in construction management including estimating, scheduling and control.
• Ability to read construction drawings and prepare cost estimates.
• Strong oral and written communication and coordination with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct project activities with ops leadership.
• Review contracts and manage financial aspects to protect company interests.
• Generate change orders, approve invoices, and issue POs as needed.
• Monitor costs and schedule to prevent overruns and maintain budgets.
• Interface with clients to manage changes, issues, or disputes.
• Prepare progress reports on costs, scheduling, and performance.
