Frank L Blum Construction Co. is seeking a senior project/operation manager to provide overall management direction for existing projects and pursue new opportunities within a designated client base or region.

The role emphasizes planning, budgeting, liaison with clients and subcontractors, and leadership of field teams to meet schedules and cost targets. Strong communication, financial acumen, and supervisory capabilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires a four year engineering degree or equivalent combination of experience and training/experience plus (five or more years) experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance management required.
• Proven ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, construction technology and working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, organization and supervisory skills essential.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and staff key field positions with assistance/input from Senior Project Managers and upper management.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with client and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities.
• Monitor/control construction to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; address issues promptly.
• Represent company in project meetings and assist in strategy meetings.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining client relationships.
• Supervise the work of the Superintendent, crew, and operations administrative staff.
• Comprehend and implement Blum Best Practices; ensure site safety compliance.
