The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Orangeburg, SC is seeking an undergraduate Intern to gain hands-on construction experience. You will work with project teams on all phases from bidding to final completion, in both the office and on site.

You will learn engineering concepts and assist with quantity take-off, layout, submittal/RFI reviews, and coordination among owner, architect, and subcontractors under project-managed supervision.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline or Construction Management.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and basic business principles to monitor expenses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and ability to read technical drawings.

Mansioni

• Assist project teams on all phases from bidding to final completion.
• Perform quantity take-off, layout, and review/maintain logs for submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate with owner, architect, and subcontractors; attend progress meetings.
