Job summary

Colorado Structures, Inc. DBA CSI Construction Company in Northern California seeks a Construction Project Executive to lead multiple projects, oversee strategy, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics, while maintaining client relationships and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will mentor project managers and superintendents, coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and support business development through proposals and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including senior project leadership roles.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight for multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
• Establish project strategy, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Ensure projects meet financial targets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project performance including schedule, cost, risk, and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in preconstruction budgeting, estimating oversight, and planning.
• Review and approve major contracts, change orders, and project financial reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance.
• Lead regular project review meetings and report progress to executive leadership.
• Support business development including client meetings, proposals, partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Job Title: Construction Project Executive

Location: Northern California, United States

Department: Construction Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Construction Project Executive to lead and oversee multiple construction projects across Northern California and Bay Areas. This senior leadership role is responsible for providing high-level project oversight, driving operational excellence, managing project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

The Project Executive will work closely with company leadership, project managers, superintendents, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight for multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Projects include High end Multi-Family (Wrap, Podium, Garden Style, etc). Commercial Retail, and others
• Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
• Establish project strategy, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Ensure projects meet financial targets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project performance including schedule, cost, risk, and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in preconstruction activities including budgeting, estimating oversight, and project planning.
• Review and approve major contracts, change orders, and project financial reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large or complex construction projects and multiple project teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
• Performance Bonus: Eligible for annual performance-based bonus

Work Environment
