We’re seeking a skilled and experienced construction estimator to join our team. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CONCRETE ESTIMATING. HANDS-ON CONCRETE EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS. Takeoffs & bids will mainly be short takeoffs for tenant-finish construction projects: plumbing trench pourbacks, sidewalks, ada ramps, etc. You will assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs for construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in construction estimation and very strong communication and project management skills. Responsibilities: • Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects • Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers • Revisit previously submitted proposal and budgets with clients • Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole Qualifications: • Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary • Possess a Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, construction management, accounting, or related field • Current Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is desired • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial Compensation: $100,000 or DOE
