Job summary
AECOM Hunt in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join the Philly 76ers project, starting Summer 2027. This role supports the project management team with construction administration and site coordination.
You will review submittals, RFIs, and reports, assist with cost and scheduling controls to keep the project within budget, and work with document control systems and multiple trades on site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equal field.
- Prior internship in construction industry or live-site experience.
- Experience engaging with multiple trades on a construction project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction administration tasks in cooperation with the Project Management team.
- Prepare subcontractor reports to keep Supervisor and Client informed of progress.
- Participate in site visits and coordinate with the superintendent as needed.
- Receive, review and submit documents for approval (Submittals/RFIs).
- Assist project manager with costs and scheduling to keep the project on budget and in conformance with contract.
- Maintain information flow using document control and project management systems.
- Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineering to be based in Philadelphia, PA working on our Philly 76ers project.
This position is expected to begin in Summer 2027.
- Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasks
- Preparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progress
- Participating in site visits. Coordinating and assisting superintendent as required
- Receiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)
- Assisting project manager costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
- Working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
- Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed

- Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and/or similar discipline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Prior Internship experience within the construction industry.
- Experience working on a live construction site.
- Experience engaging with multiple trades on a construction project.
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $23 to $28.
