Job summary

Balfour Beatty US in Sacramento is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning and daily execution of the construction project.

You will help maintain the project schedule, manage submittal approvals, coordinate material deliveries, and help monitor budgets to ensure quality, profitability, and adherence to our Safety/Zero Harm culture. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in construction engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in project engineering/coordinator roles.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning and daily project execution.
• Maintain project schedule and manage submittal approvals.
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor budgets to ensure quality and profitability.
• Support safety programs and Zero Harm culture.
• Assist with project administration and close-out activities.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related Engineering field

3 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator role
