Job summary

FLINT is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in San Francisco, CA to perform project management on small projects. The role requires a good grasp of construction terminology and activities, familiarity with MEP and permit processes, and ability to estimate costs.

You will draft subcontracts, manage submittals, maintain logs, and support schedules while coordinating with project teams. Responsibilities include site visits, As-Built administration, permits, punch list, and documented

Qualifications

Experience in project management on small construction projects.
Good grasp of construction terminology and activities.
Familiarity with MEP and building permit processes.
Understanding of prime contracts types and delivery methods.
Ability to estimate CORs, assist in bidding, and assemble project estimates.
Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, safety practices, and technology tools.

Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing subcontracts and purchase orders.
Reviewing project documents and familiarizing with project participants.
Representing the company in project meetings.
Determine submittal requirements and maintain the submittal log.
Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure proper construction and adherence to schedule.
Administrating As-Built drawings.
Handling project correspondence and documentation.
Obtain necessary permits and ensure timely receipt of record documents.
Assist in administering the Punch List.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
