Job summary

AM - Tech is seeking an accountable project engineer to oversee all engineering and technical disciplines across projects from conception to completion. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all technical activities to assure accuracy and quality.

The role involves estimating quantities and costs, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, documenting progress, monitoring budget, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials and equipment at a construction site.

Responsibilities

• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
• Maintain working relationships with subcontractors, professionals, representatives and suppliers.
• Perform office activities on the site and maintain project documents.
• Document the progress of the construction process.
• Report on contract progress and advise actions needed to keep the project on schedule.
• Monitor cost and budget.
• Schedule material and equipment purchases and delivery.
• Address complaints from local people experiencing disruption due to building works.
• Organize human and material resources on site.
• Undertake technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
