Job summary

ATI Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to support projects from pre-construction through completion. You will manage project documentation, coordinate with subcontractors and design teams, and assist the superintendent in the field.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in construction engineering, construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of commercial construction experience (internships and co-ops count).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in communicating with project stakeholders (owners, developers, architects, engineers, subcontractors).
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items for owner and subcontractor meetings.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, subcontractor bid solicitation, and bid leveling; track costs against budget.
• Help draft subcontractor scopes of work and assemble subcontract packages for PM review; track change items.
• Review subcontractor invoices against contract values and work in place; assist with monthly pay applications.
• Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and long-lead items; act as day-to-day contact for subcontractors.
• Develop and update the project schedule weekly; track milestones and lead times.
• Manage the submittal process, log RFIs, update drawings/specifications, and document site progress.
• Track permits and coordinate inspections; develop knowledge of applicable codes.
• Support safety enforcement on site and collect subcontractor safety plans.
• Compile closeout documentation and assist with punch lists and warranty process.

Education

Bachelors degree in construction engineering / construction management / civil engineering
