Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at KCG Companies. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage the Procore electronic folder organization and document naming conventions for project documents.
  2. Assist Project and Construction Managers in assigning tasks and maintaining project documentation.
  3. Plan and coordinate construction operations, logistics, and schedules to meet project deadlines.
  4. Prepare, process, and manage Requests for Information and project submittals for effective communication.
  5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to determine project standards and specifications.
  6. Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  7. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company health and safety standards.
  8. Take ownership of the project and contribute to its successful completion.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience.
  2. Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and procedures.
  3. Basic knowledge of document management procedures.
  4. 0-4 years of construction project management experience.
  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  6. Strong knowledge of project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
  7. Experience with BlueBeam PDF document management platform.
  8. Experience with project management platforms like ProCore.
  9. Experience with process management and improvement.
  10. OSHA 30 certification.

Skills And Abilities:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Ability to coordinate a team of professionals from various disciplines.
  3. Professional and positive interaction with colleagues and clients.
  4. Willingness to travel up to 100% during the project lifecycle.
  5. Ability to operate independently at a high level.

Salary: $50,000 - $75,000
