Job summary

The Korte Company is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. You will work within our Project Management Group to support project delivery and coordination with Project Managers.

Responsibilities include scheduling, RFIs/submittals, RFC tracking, and close-out procedures. Travel to jobsites is expected about once per month; 2 years of relevant experience and a CM/Engineering degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creation of the master project schedule including design, submittals, fabrication and construction activities.
• Facilitate information flow among Owners, Designers, Subcontractors and Field divisions.
• Assist Project Manager with and document project coordination meetings.
• Read contracts and plans to determine processing and completion procedures.
• Set schedules with Project Manager and expedite submittal review/approval process.
• Create and log RFIs and submittals; track RFC changes.
• Identify close-out procedures and develop checklists.
• Prepare warranty letters and operation manuals for owners.
• Travel to jobsites approximately monthly.
