Job summary

The Project Engineer Intern at Loenbro, LLC supports project teams across diverse industries, gaining hands-on exposure to planning, coordination, and execution on construction sites. This internship offers real-world experience in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, with assignments that may vary by market and location.

You will assist engineers and superintendents, help with scheduling, document control, cost tracking, and field coordination, while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Strong interest in construction and project delivery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with construction software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel or relocate temporarily based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents with day-to-day project activities.
• Support document control efforts, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Participate in quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and budget support activities.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Attend project meetings, site walks, and safety briefings.
• Help maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Support quality control and safety initiatives on the jobsite.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful project delivery.
