Job summary

Ryan Companies seeks a Project Engineer Intern to join our Atlanta team for a summer internship (May–August) or spring/fall co-ops. You will assist the project team in understanding construction processes, budgets, scheduling, and policy compliance while gaining hands-on experience on designated projects.

You will learn about budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and site coordination.

Qualifications

• You must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or a closely related field and be within 18 months of graduating.
• Be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
• Eligibility: verification of employment to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Read contracts, specifications and architectural/engineering drawings; communicate clearly orally and in writing.
