Job summary

Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer II for our Construction Technology Group in the Transportation Division in Oak Brook, IL. This role focuses on coordinating project activities, data-driven decisions, and collaborative problem solving.

You will support the project team with document control, procurement, quality checks, coordination of subs, site surveys, and progress reporting. Bachelor's degree preferred and 1+ year of experience; relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction/project roles
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Relocation may be required for some roles

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement of construction materials
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Survey and project layout
• Weekly pictures for progress reports
• Manage construction equipment
• Safety management
• Project estimating
• Inspect project site(s)

Education
