The Garrett Companies is seeking a Project Engineer for its Denver-based construction and development teams. You will learn every stage of the build process, collaborating with top industry professionals to keep projects on track and on brand.

This hands-on role rewards proactive problem solving and strong attention to detail. You’ll coordinate with field personnel, prepare schedules, track inspections, and ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining organized project files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in construction or related field or 3–5 years of construction experience.
• Detail oriented with strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work with customer services, internal teams, and consultants.
• Analytical skills to forecast trends and challenges.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize company software (Procore, Microsoft Office, Blue Beam Revu, Timberscan, Sage 300).
• Travel to project sites monthly to support progress.
• Coordinate with team to ensure project success.
• Communicate with on-site personnel to ensure tools are available.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules.
• Identify issues and help maintain schedule.
• Verify municipal inspections.
• Coordinate utility and material procurement.
• Maintain project files.
• Provide two-week progress reports.
