Job summary

Buckeye Construction & Restoration is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support project managers and estimators through all project phases. You will help ensure budgets, timelines, and quality standards are met while coordinating diverse stakeholders and maintaining thorough project documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical problem solving, and continuous improvement in a specialty contractor environment focused on masonry, concrete, and steel structures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Organizational and time-management skills; multitask effectively.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to understand requirements and constraints.
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Estimate quantities and costs for materials, labor, equipment and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, specs, drawings and reports.
• Coordinate communications among clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Support risk management and contingency planning throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.
