Job summary

MPI is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents, manage documents, submittals, RFIs, and drawing distribution, and coordinate with subs and stakeholders to meet milestones.

The role emphasizes budgeting, procurement, safety, quality control, and proactive communication across field and office teams, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/engineering/architecture or related field.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects as a Project Engineer or similar.
• Proficient in document control and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents through all phases of construction.
• Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and drawing distribution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, procurement, and change management.
• Monitor progress and identify efficiency/productivity improvements.
• Support quality control, safety compliance, and closeout activities.
• Participate in meetings and report project status and deliverables.
