Job summary

Opitz Bürotechnik seeks a Project Engineer to support project delivery and administrative requirements, coordinating with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

The role requires a relevant degree and up to 2 years of on-site construction experience, with basic MEP knowledge and MS Office proficiency. On-site work in Austin, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Basic MEP knowledge and proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop industry relationships and expand networks to generate sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain project logs and reports.
• Assist Project Managers with updating project tasks, RFIs, submittals, and logs.
• Ensure bid documents are sent to bidders and manage bidder lists.
• Maintain current construction documents and respond to RFIs and submittals.
• Support day-to-day project management including pay requests, change orders, and contract administration.
