STRUCTURAL Long Island City, NY, is seeking a Project Engineer for its PECD program. The role emphasizes in-field learning across scheduling, estimating, budgeting, safety, quality control, and client relations, with mentorship toward leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 1–2 years in construction, a GPA of 2.8+, and has at least one relevant internship. This is an in-office position in LIC.

  • 1–2 years experience in construction industry (commercial/industrial preferred).
  • GPA 2.8 or higher; minimum one relevant internship.

About the Team:

STRUCTURAL Long Island City's office is located in Long Island City, NY and is primarily an in-office position. The vast majority of our LIC team's work in concentrated in the Boroughs, with a heavy emphasis on parking structure, plaza deck and pier repair work.Long Island City's primary market is commercial, with an emphasis on strengthening and repairing parking structures and other unique concrete structures. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • 1-2 years experience in the construction industry (commercial/industrial preferred)
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
