STRUCTURAL New Jersey’s Hawthorne office is seeking a Project Engineer through the PECD program. This in-office role emphasizes in-field learning, with exposure to scheduling, estimating, cost control, safety, quality, and client relations while developing leadership potential.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (preferred Construction Management or Civil Engineering), a 2.8+ GPA, at least one internship, strong communication and organizational skills, and reliable transportation to job

In order to accomplish that, the PECD program has been structured with a competency based approach along with an emphasis on individual mentorship. Our Project Engineers will build experience across multiple competencies before being promoted into the career path they desire – project management, estimating, construction management and more.

About the Team

STRUCTURAL New Jersey’s office is located in Hawthorne, NJ and is primarily an in-office position. Most of the team’s projects are in the northern/central New Jersey area, however there is opportunity for out-of-town work in New York State. Hawthorne’s primary market is commercial, with an emphasis on strengthening and repairing parking structures and other unique concrete structures. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study
• Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
