Job summary

STRUCTURAL Houston office is hiring a Project Engineer as part of the PECD program, designed to develop leaders through hands-on field learning and mentorship. You will master critical construction skills including scheduling, budgeting, safety management, quality control, and client relations.

The role emphasizes in-office collaboration with structured growth paths into project management, estimating and construction management while supporting a wide range of specialty repair projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
  • Preferred majors: Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 and at least one internship.

Responsibilities

  • Support scheduling and production tracking on projects.
  • Assist with estimating and budget control.

In order to accomplish that, the PECD program has been structured with a competency based approach along with an emphasis on individual mentorship. Our Project Engineers will build experience across multiple competencies before being promoted into the career path they desire – project management, estimating, construction management and more. About the Team

STRUCTURAL Houston office is located in Deer Park, TX and is primarily an in-office position. The vast majority of our Houston team’s work in concentrated in the gulf on technical civil-related projects, often critical to the stability and sustainability of built structures within industrial and power generation spaces. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher.
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for solving problems.
  • Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites.
